Happy Hour Art Show: Come celebrate our resident artists

 Art Show Shorebirds Benefit Mordecai LT

The Art Show Happy Hour, Friday, June 16, will feature 12 handcrafted shorebirds by Wes Heilman. This Art Show marks the fifth year Wes has carved and painted shorebirds to benefit a local conservation organization, and the second year all proceeds have gone to Mordecai Land Trust. 

Wes hand-carves the models using actual vintage birds he has collected over the years, in addition to working from photographs. Each bird is meticulously carved and painted. Wes has been joined in the painting of these unique models in the past two years by fellow club member Jim Graham.

A total of 12 shorebirds are offered for sale this year to benefit Mordecai Land Trust, ranging from $100 to $150. Wes and Jim have graciously donated their labor in creating these wonderful and unique keepsakes. ALL proceeds go to the MLT.
