Social Impact Committee Compassion Cafe Event: Front Dock
The LEHYC Social Impact Committee is hosting an event on Monday, July 15th supporting Compassion Cafe, which is an LBI-based group that employs young adults with intellectual and physical disabilities by providing hands-on training and employment in a breakfast cafe, hosted once again this summer at the Sea Shell. We are inviting the staff of Compassion Cafe and their care givers for a sunset cruise around Mordecai at 6 pm followed by pizza and refreshments on the front dock. We need volunteers for many important roles to make this happen - Owners/drivers of power boats, Boat helpers, Food set up, Dessert providers, Pizza contributors and clean up crew. Note for Power Boat Captains, we need to know how many passengers you can hold and whether you are "solo" and if so we will provide a Boat helper on board. You must have enough life jackets for all passengers.
