Below are some helpful details for your planning purposes, and we look forward to seeing you in Moorestown, NJ for this year's annual event.

Evening includes…

Open bar, cocktail hour with appetizers, buffet dinner, dessert, and live music all night.

If you have a special drink, beer, or favorite wine, feel free to bring it.  Deliver it to the bar.  We will have nametags available and the bartenders will manage your drink requests.   If you have a special wine you'd like for dinner, please deliver it to the bar and the bartenders will make sure your wine gets to your table.  Mixers, lemon and limes will be provided.

A selection of house wines and basic spirits will be available at the Open bar.

Hotels

Moorestown, New Jersey sits nestled behind Exit 4 of the New Jersey Turnpike and Exit 40 off I-295 and right off Route 38 which is a road traveled by many members going from Philadelphia to LEHYC.  Almost every hotel chain is represented between both exchanges.  Regardless of what exchange or what hotel you stay in, you are a quick (5-10 minutes) Uber / Lift to Moorestown Community House.

Parking

The Moorestown Community House has its own (free) parking lot behind the building.

Pre-Party Activities

Several committee members suggested we organize a few pre-party activities.  Ideas included Top Golf, Ice Skating, a walking tour of historic Moorestown, or a trip to local breweries.  We will share more of these options closer to the date.

Venue Details

The Community House (http://thecommunityhouse.com/) was built in 1923 as a gift from Eldridge Reeves Johnson who invented the 'talking machine', the Victoria Record Player.  It is a lovely building and will serve as our venue for the 2020 Mid Winter Dinner Dance.  Our rental includes the use of the first floor, which has a Ballroom, Garden Room and The Club Room.  The cocktail hour will be in the Club Room and includes a working fireplace, piano and bar.  Dinner will be served in the Ballroom.  Dining tables will also be set up in the Garden Room, which will serve as a quiet dining room area.
